Best Hospital Medicine CME Conferences to Attend in 2019

CMEList October 17, 2018

Many Hospitalists prefer earning Hospital Medicine CME credits by attending live Hospital Medicine CME activities. The American Board of Internal Medicine requires Hospitalists to earn at least 100 MOC points (20 which must be medical knowledge) every 5 years to maintain their ABIM board certification. In addition, they are required to earn a specific number of CME credits determined by which state licensing board they belong to.

Hospitalists often choose to attend live CME events such as conferences and live board reviews because they allow physicians to use their CME allowance to attend conferences held in popular vacation destinations. In addition, these conferences will usually feature renowned speakers in the world of hospital medicine who deliver informative sessions and lectures and the most relevant and current topics in hospital medicine.

Below you will find some of the top Hospital Medicine CME conferences coming up in 2019 that Hospitalists can attend to meet their CME and MOC requirements.
