ACCF/AHA and ACR Training Requirements Upon completion, the 135 Cardiac CT cases and CME credits available from this activity can be applied to the training, credentialing and/or maintenance requirements established by the American College of Cardiology Foundation (ACCF), American Heart Association (AHA) and American College of Radiology (ACR), as detailed in the Journal of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography (2011) 5, 279-285.

Specifically, the 135 cases are considered Category B by the ACCF/AHA. They can be used to meet the requirements for ACCF/AHA Level 1 Credentialing, or can be applied to the case requirements for Level 2 or 3. For those already credentialed, the CME credits could be used to meet maintenance CME requirements for Level 2 and 3.

Additionally, the 135 cases and CME credits can be applied to the ACR training or maintenance requirements for Cardiac CT competence.
