Wyoming CME Requirements and Courses

Physicians licensed in Wyoming are required to complete 60 hours of CME credits during each three-year licensure cycle. 30 of those hours must be AMA PRA Category 1 Credit, while the remaining 30 hours may be AMA PRA Category 2 Credit. Wyoming does not mandate specific topics for CME, allowing physicians flexibility in choosing courses that align with their professional interests and needs.

All DEA-registered practitioners have training requirements due at DEA registration renewal. With the enactment of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2023, the DEA now requires you to complete a one-time, eight-hour training requirement on the treatment and management of patients with opioid substance use disorders.
