World Class CME – Survival Skills for Women’s Health Fall 2026 Experts Teach Menopause
“Women reaching the average age of menopause today were not yet 30 when the Women’s Health Initiative (WHI) reshaped care in 2002. At that time, perimenopause was largely unrecognized, and even today, training in midlife women’s health across nursing, medical school, and residency remains insufficient.
This comprehensive course provides state of the art, evidence based education on the care of women in perimenopause, menopause, and beyond. Sessions are designed to deliver practical clinical insights, actionable strategies, and real world pearls for daily practice.
Key topics include hot flashes and night sweats, sleep disturbance, hormone therapy risks and benefits (including testosterone), weight gain/obesity and osteoporosis management, mood and cognitive changes, low libido and sexual dysfunction, vaginal dryness and dyspareunia, and nonhormonal treatment options for all of these.
Lectures and interactive Q&A sessions are led by a multidisciplinary faculty of recognized experts in gynecology, primary care, breast health, psychiatry, dermatology, obesity medicine, sexual medicine, neurology, physical therapy, and nursing.
Attendees will leave with immediately applicable knowledge to improve patient outcomes in midlife women’s health. We look forward to welcoming you to an exceptional educational experience in Washington, DC.”

Healio Innovations in DME: Leveraging Clinical Biomarkers and Durable Therapies
The integration into practice of sustained delivery devices and therapies that offer longer duration of action have further revolutionized the management of patients with diabetic macular edema (DME). However, selecting patients who will optimally benefit from these newer therapies can be challenging. Biomarkers of vascular instability are emerging, which could help guide treatment decisions and provide useful tools for monitoring disease control. This CE activity utilizes Curbside Consults, a dynamic and interactive case-based platform that will highlight these therapeutic strategies for the management of DME that reduce dosing frequency and enhance anatomic outcomes. Experts in the field also review the role of novel biomarkers to guide early clinical decision-making and evaluate treatment options for patients with DME based on the latest clinical evidence.

Healio Diabetic Macular Edema: Rethinking Response and Revising Treatment With Corticosteroid Therapy
Despite major therapeutic advances, diabetic macular edema (DME) remains a leading cause of vision loss in adults with diabetes, with delayed diagnosis, treatment burden, and suboptimal responses continuing to challenge real-world outcomes. Although intravitreal anti-vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) therapy is the established first-line standard of care, many patients experience persistent or refractory DME, and long-term visual gains in routine practice often fall short of results seen in clinical trials due to undertreatment and adherence challenges. Early identification of inadequate treatment response and timely therapy modification are critical, as untreated or insufficiently treated DME can result in significant, irreversible vision loss. Emerging evidence supports the use of newer anti-VEGF agents with extended dosing intervals, as well as the early integration of corticosteroid implants for patients with suboptimal responses. Corticosteroid therapies offer broad anti-inflammatory benefits and have demonstrated meaningful visual and anatomical improvements, particularly when introduced earlier in the disease course. In this CE Snips activity, expert faculty assess how to recognize when patients with DME demonstrate insufficient response to anti-VEGF therapy and when to integrate corticosteroid therapy based on current clinical evidence and real-world data.

Healio Bronchiectasis and the Vicious Vortex: Transforming Care Through Targeted Interventions
Bronchiectasis is a complex and increasingly prevalent condition often overlooked in clinical practice, with frequent overlap with other respiratory diseases such as COPD and asthma. Persistent airway inflammation, chronic infection, and mucociliary dysfunction drive disease progression, leading to significant morbidity and healthcare burden. As the clinical burden of bronchiectasis becomes increasingly recognized, there is an urgent need to better understand the underlying mechanisms of neutrophilic inflammation, alongside efforts to improve early diagnosis and explore current and emerging treatment options that target this vicious cycle.
In this activity, a panel of leading pulmonologists tackle the evolving challenges and emerging opportunities in bronchiectasis management. From diagnostic workup to airway clearance and exacerbation control, the discussion will blend expert insight with real-world clinical scenarios and patient perspectives.

Endocrinologists, endocrinology NPs and PAs, and the broader care team are positioned to close it. This training program, modeled on the CDC Training of Trainers approach, equips endocrinology-led teams to build CKM risk into everyday T2D decision-making: selecting and sequencing GLP-1-based therapies according to a patient’s cardiovascular, renal, and metabolic profile, not glycemic control alone. The content also addresses related benefits emerging in this drug class, including MASH and OSA, within the broader CKM framework.Designed to update clinicians on data presented at the American Society of Retina Specialists 43rd Annual Meeting held in Long Beach, CA, from July 30 to August 2, 2025
