The Annual St. Louis Live Therapeutic Endoscopy Course and Fellows Course 2026 is planned and implemented by physicians and nurses for gastroenterologists, surgeons and nurses. This course may also be of interest to residents, fellows, physician associates, and nurse practitioners who specialize in therapeutic endoscopy.

This live course will provide education through lectures, hands-on endoscopy lab, audience question and answer, and presentation of pre-recorded therapeutic endoscopy procedures. In addition to the Washington University Interventional Endoscopy Section faculty, nationally known therapeutic endoscopists at peer institutions will serve as faculty for the hands-on endoscopy lab, provide didactic lectures, and discussion of complex cases.

The goal is to highlight best practice techniques across the broad spectrum of therapeutic endoscopy in order to enhance knowledge, skills, performance, and patient care.

The 4th Annual Washington University Glomerular Disease Symposium is planned and implemented by physicians from the Division of Nephrology. This live, in-person course is designed primarily for practicing nephrologists and nephrology trainees, and may also be of interest to rheumatologists, internal medicine physicians and trainees, advanced practice providers, and nephrology nurses.

This 14-hour program provides a comprehensive update on the latest advances in the pathogenesis, diagnosis, and treatment of glomerular diseases. The format includes lectures, panel discussions, interactive breakout workshops, and Q&A sessions to promote active learning. The goal of this activity is to enhance knowledge, skills strategy, performance, and patient care.

The Division of Allergy & Immunology at Washington University School of Medicine will hold the Updates in Clinical Allergy and Immunology on September 18-19, 2026 at Le Meridien Hotel in Clayton, Missouri. This activity will allow for sharing of best practices and updates for managing patients with allergic and immunologic illnesses. The Updates in Clinical Allergy and Immunology activity is planned and implemented interprofessionally by physicians and nurses.

This live in-person event is designed for allergists, immunologists, otolaryngologists, pulmonologists, internists, hospitalists, general & family practice physicians, pediatricians, pediatric allergists, pediatric immunologist, pediatric otolaryngologists, nurse practitioners, and nurses. It may be of interest to physician assistants, pharmacists, and all healthcare professionals who care for patients with allergic and immunologic illnesses.

This day and a half activity will provide education through lectures and question-and-answer sessions addressing a broad range of allergic and immunologic conditions. Topics will include allergic rhinitis, asthma, atopic dermatitis, contact dermatitis, hereditary angioedema, food allergy, drug allergy, emerging immunotherapy approaches, biologic therapies, advances in diagnosis and management, and strategies to improve patient outcomes. The intended result of this course is to increase knowledge, competence, performance and enhanced patient care.

27th Annual Critical Care & Neuro Critical Care Update: Serious Infections is an engaging and collaborative course planned and implemented by physicians, nurses, and pharmacists. This event is specifically geared toward physicians, nurses, and pharmacists practicing in anesthesiology, critical care, emergency medicine, general surgery, neurology and pulmonology, as well as those in family, general, hospital, and internal medicine. It may also be of interest to physician assistants, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals involved in providing care for critically ill patients.

This years course focuses on the latest advances in managing life-threatening infections in critically ill patients. Topics include updates in septic shock, severe community-acquired pneumonia, and Staphylococcus aureus bacteremia and endocarditis; the use of novel antibiotics, strategies for antibiotic de-escalation, and management of candidemia in the ICU; and key neuro-infectious issues such as meningitis, brain abscess, and mycotic aneurysm. The program also reviews the role of aerosolized antibiotics, with multiple panel discussions emphasizing practical, case-based application of these concepts at the bedside. During this intensive program, participants will have the opportunity to expand their expertise through engaging lectures and dynamic panel discussions, featuring dedicated question and answer sessions. The course will focus on showcasing best practices in evidence-based, multidisciplinary critical care.
