This interactive prep course is designed to help you practice and build confidence as we prepare you to conquer your Boards in the virtual setting where you will take the exam. Our expert faculty and excellent teachers in their respective fields have prepared thousands of candidates for their Boards.
Each mock examiner has adapted and used the content outline to create scenarios for your 30-minute mock oral sessions. You practice going through multiple timed scenarios in each mock oral session.
Given direction and presentation cues, leaving time for detailed feedback and teaching/take-home points.
Course fees include participation in five private virtual mock orals scheduled during the one-day course. Participants may purchase additional mock orals if desired; however, topic availability may be limited near the start of the course.

Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this course, participants should be able to:
- Explain preoperative, operative, and postoperative patient care in the principal component areas of colon and rectal surgery: benign and malignant conditions of the anus, colon, and rectum.
- Demonstrate skill and understanding in diagnosing and managing patients in clinical and surgical case scenarios from all colon and rectal surgery areas.
- Demonstrate proficiency in managing postoperative complications following colon and rectal surgical procedures.
- Discuss nonoperative management options for patients with colon, rectum, and anus disorders, including management of patients with intestinal stomas.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the various colon, rectum, and anus tumors and describe the appropriate surgical and/or nonsurgical management required for each type of tumor and tumor stage.
- Explain any operation within the scope of colon and rectal surgery from start to finish.
