Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, the participant will be able to:
1. Discuss skin cancer, surgery and cosmetic dermatology, including surgical pearls, germline genetics in melanoma, dermoscopy of non-melanoma skin cancers, atypical surgical site infections, surgical management of hidradenitis suppurativa (HS), management of port wine stains, synthetic surgical dressings, laser surgery for dermatologic conditions and acne scar treatment.
2. Review the medical and procedural advancements in hair disorders, including regenerative therapies for hair loss, JAKI in alopecia areata, hormonal modulation in women with alopecia and others.
3. Critically appraise approaches for diagnosing medical dermatology conditions and managing them with biologics and small-molecule inhibitors, including lymphomatoid reactions, drug reactions, new and emerging infectious diseases, connective tissue diseases and HS.
4. Analyze and critically appraise clinical approaches to dermatopathology.
