Cleveland Clinic 27th Annual Structural Valve Imaging Summit
Cleveland Clinic’s 27th Annual Structural Valve Imaging Summit provides a comprehensive overview of valve disease, structural interventions and cardiac imaging. An expert faculty discusses state-of-the-art technology and advanced imaging topics such as strain and 3-D, pericardial diseases, amyloid, HCM and artificial intelligence. In addition to didactic lectures, this summit features complex case presentations, workshop demonstrations and spirited debates over several controversial topics. Worth 16 AMA PRA Category I Credits™, this enduring material meets Echo Lab CME requirements. Additionally, physicians can earn 16 ABIM MOC points for this activity.

Key Features
16 AMA PRA Category I Credits™ Meets Echo Lab CME Requirements
Topics Covered
Mitral valve, atrial fibrillation, left atrial appendage, aortic valve, TAVR, SAVR, tricuspid regurgitation, diastology, myocardial and pericardial diseases, artificial intelligence, 3D, strain imaging and much more!
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, the participant will be able to:
1. Apply multimodality imaging, including echo, CT, and MRI, to assess the severity and hemodynamic impact of valvular heart disease and identify recent advancements in CT and MRI technology and their implications for mitral valve assessment in 2025.
2. Evaluate the most recent innovations in surgical approaches, including artificial intelligence, for diseases of the mitral valve, aortic valve, tricuspid valve and left atrial appendage.
3. Apply updated imaging guideline criteria to inform decision-making for structural valve interventions, medical therapies and surgical valve repair or replacement.
4. Discuss recent advancements in diastology and the role of left atrial (LA) strain in diagnosis.
5. Describe advances in cardio-oncology, recurrent pericarditis, constrictive pericarditis, cardiac amyloidosis and hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.
6. Assess emerging approaches to sarcoid heart disease, atrial septal defects (ASDs), mechanical support for heart failure and ultrasound contrast agents in routine practice.”
Target Audience
This activity is designed for cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, cardiovascular anesthesiologists, residents and fellows, cardiac sonographers, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and anyone with special interest in clinical cardiology and echocardiography.
