Not every laceration is straight, clean, or easy. The Advanced Suturing Workshop is an intensive, 1-day live masterclass designed to take your wound-care skills from basic closures to the level of elite surgical artistry. Engineered for clinicians in emergency medicine, urgent care, primary care, and dermatology, this course replaces clinical hesitation with the exact physical techniques required to manage highly complex, cosmetically sensitive, and anatomically difficult wounds.
Led by actively practicing emergency physicians and master clinicians, this workshop maintains our gold-standard 6:1 student-to-faculty ratio. You will work with a customized take-home suture simulator alongside hyper-realistic specialized facial, ear, and body-part models. From complex geometric lacerations to delicate eyelid and lip repairs, you will build the precise muscle memory needed to achieve beautiful cosmetic outcomes. Your registration includes 12 Category 1 CME/CE credits (including 10 Emergency Procedure hours) and a full year of premium digital toolkit access.

Additional credit info
We are accredited to provide CME credits for nurse practitioners (NP’s), physicians (MD/DO/MBBS/etc), and physician associates (PA’s). CME is interchangeable for 12 Nurse Practitioner continuing education (CE) hours, and also includes 10 emergency procedure hours and 1 pharmacology hours. Anyone completing our programs may claim CME credits!
The AAFP has reviewed the Physician Skills and Procedures Series, and deemed it acceptable for AAFP credit. Term of approval is from 05/01/2026 to 04/30/2027. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
This activity will satisfy the requirements for Category I credits from the American Academy of Physician Associates. AAFP credits are interchangeable with the AAPA and the NCCPA on a one-to-one basis and are equivalent to AAPA Category 1 credits for Physician Associates. Nurse Practitioners may also apply AAFP credits toward Continuing Education hours with all Nurse Practitioner Boards. Nurse Practitioners will also receive designated Pharmacology and Emergency Procedure credits for this program.
