By the end of this activity, attendees will be able to:

    with obstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) and apply these to
    an example patient
  • Contrast the strengths and limitations of medical and invasive therapies
    for heart failure symptoms in patients with obstructive HCM and
    apply appropriately to sample patient data
  • Summarize contemporary management strategies for heart failure
    symptoms in patients with nonobstructive HCM
  • Recognize the signs of the advanced heart failure stage of HCM and
    employ appropriate management strategies for sample patients
